Dave is an active member of the OC Project Masters Toastmasters Club, part of Toastmasters International. He organized the chapter’s 2013 speech contests (a Toastmasters’ tradition), with a focus on helping attendees improve leadership, communication, and listening skills in a supportive setting.

Dave participated in the Agile Open SoCal 2013, where he and other agile practitioners and advocates had an opportunity to learn, network, and grow as members of the Southern California Agile community.
